For 60 years, HIBA GROUP has proven itself as a renowned taxi (TAXIKU) and bus (UTAMA) transportation group committed in achieving customer satisfaction. The various achievements and awards over the years are testimonial and most recently, being voted Best 2010 and Charter Transportation Company with the Tourism Service Excellence 2010 award from the Ministry of Transportation Indonesia.
To ensure their vehicles are always in prime condition, HIBA has cooperated with Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation Clean Air Project in the area of reducing gas emission and fuel consumption.
In the other areas where HIBA hopes to be at the forefront of sustainable transportation, batteries optimization is also another close watched area. In this aspect, HIBA has cooperated with Nanopulser since 2010 to achieve a sustainable solution where lead acid batteries can be extended in service times and to reduce battery waste substantially.
The results have been most encouraging to the management having fewer batteries changed out over the same period of operation ie. 6 months stretching to more than 10 months or 220,000km. This was to be beneficial to both sustainability and cost management.
Nanopulser hopes that with the success story of HIBA GROUP, more fleet operators will take a closer scrutiny into their battery management strategy. By employing effective eco-technologies, battery waste and post disposal effluents levels can then be mitigated and controlled much more effectively.
IT’S A WIN-WIN SITUATION FOR BOTH BUSINESSES AND OUR ENVIRONMENT.
